Dia De Los Muertos 2013 Photo Story
1. The photos that I expected from this event were more colors. I thought there would be more people dressed up or with sugar skulls on their faces.
2. The place itself was small and filled with people that were looking at the altars with their backs and butts showing, so I felt fortunate on getting the photos that I got. This event was fun, but alot of work because it was such a small event, there was only a few places to photograph. The flash was a big asset to this event for me.
3. The challenging part of the event was being able to tell the story through the photos, this is such a treasured and memorable event for the west-sides community, that I did not want to disrespect any ones culture.
4. I feel that I could of did better with the changes in lighting with the camera settings. Every room that I went into had different lighting, then going from in the home to outside was also a challenge.
